Synopsis
Media whiz Muncie Daniels must fight for his innocence and his life after he stumbles upon a murder deep in the Poconos. Colman Domingo’s first starring role on television. Started off promisingly but the story was unnecessarily dragged out with far too many episodes!! Half the episodes would have been enough in my opinion. The main character, I mean. He’s supposed to be highly respected and intelligent but he makes one bad decision after another which (I think) helps to undermine his credibility. I appreciate the concept of the show – exposing corruption and showing how ordinary people can get caught between systemic greed and political machinations. And also highlighting the dangers of unchecked corporate influence!! But the execution was a little disappointing.
